Anaesthetist
Dr Craig Parker completed his undergraduate medical degree with an MBBCh at Wits University in 2015. He then qualified with a Diploma in anaesthesia through the Colleges of medicine South Africa in 2022. Prior to studying medicine, Craig obtained a BSc in mechanical Engineering in 1993 from the (then) University of Natal and worked most of his engineering career within the mining industry. Craig led the team that developed the OxERA mask during the covid pandemic and is a founding director of the “Umoya” social enterprise.

Hospital design and development
Clinical Engineering, especially in the realm of anaesthesia equipment.
His hobbies include: Trail running, mountain biking, fishing, hiking and bird watching with his family.
